to reproduce the autocomplete feature of regular tagging fields, it would be nice to get a list of terms e.g. after the first two or three characters input.

The suggested terms should be visible to be choosen.

You have a module to show terms of a vocabulary as suggestions, but yet not auto-filtering to use it as autocompletition.
