Hi,

first of all, I'd like to thank you for this great module, it's very useful. I'd just like to see one funcionality - is it possible to filter a phrase only once per node?

For example, I want to convert "example" to "example". If I write "example" in the node 5 times, the module will convert it to "example" every time. It would be great if we could choose to restrict this behaviour only to first appearance.

Thank you in advance.

I'm afraid the current design doesn't really allow for that. Unless you can help with a patch to make that type of feature possible then it would likely have to be something that you custom implement.

I'd *love* to see this as well. For example, I have the word "Kindle" as a referral link being replaced with Wordfilter. Often times though, the word is used more than once, often a few times within the same node/comment and can start looking kinda gaudy, maybe even kind of annoying to readers. If it were possible to only show the filtered version of a word one time per comment it'd be pretty sweet. =)

Here's an example of what I mean by "gaudy/annoying", lol: http://geekdrop.com/content/can-i-buy-kindle-ebook-from-amazon-and-use-i...

Taking the concept a slight bit further, adding the "1 time per node/comment" feature would probably work best as another checkbox option when adding a new word to filter. This way if you have for example, links like I mentioned, a check could be added for those words to only show once per node/comment, but if you also have some swear words added for example, then leaving the box unchecked for the swear words would still allow Wordfilter to exchange all of those in each node/comment with the censored version.
