Not on individual nodes or in views. The aliases are being created, as I can see them in admin/build/path/list.

I am using the latest dev versions of File_Aliases and FileField_Paths (Jan 11 2010).

Yeah, and I've tried "active updating" and then editing nodes of different types. these are not images that are being processed through imagecache either, as I've read that file aliases does not support that.
