This looks like an interesting module, so I just downloaded the current 4.7 version for some testing. As soon as I unpacked the .tar.gz file my site just "hung", giving totally blank pages with no error message.

This is before I have even had a chance to enable the module! A quick "rm -rf htmltidy/" and my site was working again.

I saw some reference in CHANGELOG.txt to a check for an HTMLTIDY executable (which I probably don't have installed), but there is no further documentation. A README.txt file would be nice.

What do I need to do to get this module working?

you probably need to delete the forms_api_backport.module the maintainer should remove it from the 4.7 branch.

Morbus gave me CVS access. I've removed this and gotten the 4.7 branch setup correctly.
