My contribution isn't strictly a single module or theme, but an entire Drupal based website consisting of 12 custom modules, an install profile, and a custom Theme. This site was in development for 9 months and was recently launched to much acclaim.

The live site is http://VitalSignsME.org which was developed by Image Works for the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI). The site fosters science education and facilitates real research into Invasive Species. GMRI wants to give back to the community that enabled this fantastic website to be created by sharing the almost 500,000 lines of custom code with the Drupal community.

The contribution will consist of our 12 custom modules, a custom theme, and an Install profile. It will also include a database snapshot of the current site (minus user accounts and community contributions) so that others can get up and running with their own version of the site as soon as possible.

We are also currently working on a case study for the site that we hope to have featured on the Drupal home page. We would love to include in the case study that the full source code of the site is also available on Drupal.org.

Files have been uploaded, but I had to exclude some of the content and theme related images from the archive in order to keep the size under 1MB. All code for the modules, theme, and Install profile are present.

We review just a module / theme per applicant. Choose a module that is self-contained, and that will be reviewed.

Here is just the custom module by itself. I'll submit a separate project request for the theme.

Just checking in to see what the status is on getting this project setup. The case study for the project has just been promoted to the Drupal home page and I would love to get the code out there soon for the community to have access to.

The code is licensed under GPL License V3, which is not the code you can commit on Drupal.org repository.

I didn't see anything in the online instructions saying that we can only submit GPL v2 code and that v3 would be rejected. If that is truely the case, please close out this ticket and we'll continue to host the code on our own site.
