I've already done some investigation. For example, I was worried about keeping my disqus comments but did find the answer to that question.
Admittedly, these may be some "duh" questions, but I don't wanna get halfway in the project and discover it want work. So, here's the deal.
I have a blog on blogspot. What I like best about drupal is what I've seen on another sight, www.prometheus6.org. I like that each post has a teaser but also looks like it's own "mini" section. Blogger has lots of gadgets, I know, but not always the gadget I want.
So, here're my questions
- will I be able to keep the blogspot.com url?
- do blogger's available gadgets operate alongside drupal's modules (Drupal's modules are like blogger's gadgets, right?
- how easy is it to change the color scheme? Blogger has the "FONT and COLOR" section. Will I be able to use that section or does drupal have something similar?
- do springwidgets work with drupal?
- will I be able to easily edit the blog post template?
I guess I'm a bit "lazy." I wanna be able to do a lot of stuff without having to learn (too much) code. I just wanna find the gadget/widget/template that only needs me to rearrange elements or copy/paste website feeds, etc and so on. Blogger's okay, I just wanna be able to do more without my site looking a hot mess. I want my site to still look sophisticated.
And I really like this body/post module. I think it'd be hot if readers only saw a summary, but could scroll to read the entire post without going to another page. So like, when the site first comes up, a reader would see multiple post teasers, and could read entire posts without going to another page or having to scroll the entire page, just the particular post.

Yes. Same as you could with a normal website.

This I am not sure of without looking.

Not very hard at all.

No idea on this one.
