File and bars are generated just fine but instead of digits I get this square boxes (see attachment). Font seems to be fine when I use it on an editor. Any ideas what causing this?

Do you know any working font, where I can buy it?
BTW fonts work fine on text editors on OSX.
I have tried on greek drupal installation and on english and charset is set to UTF-8.
I don't know if this has any connection with this issue.

skyredwangthe square boxes look like an encoding problem, but you said you had set it to UTF-8, so I am sure which part of your system is causing the problem (OS? PHP? Font?). I am using
arialbd.ttffont file, could you try an Arial font?Comment #10

It works fine now.
I guess I was missing the point of using fonts.I was trying EAN13 barcode fonts.

Nevermind.
Just realized you finally used the arialbd.ttf font.
The thing is that it was the default dir but what you need to do is download it and copy it to the barcode folder
