The AddtoAny module does not work with my zeropoint instance. The mouseover drop down menu does not appear at all.
looking at the page source, the required addtoany javascript does not get inserted.

Addtoany works fine on the Garland template.

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

The theme works nicely with addtoany module.

You should do several things:
- disable "block cache" here /admin/settings/performance;
- lower the number of modules used or use http://drupal.org/project/unlimited_css

I have the same problem. Works fine in Garland, not in a custom theme.
