Just fill in the "Pattern for forum paths" field in the pathauto settings page after installing the module, and leave the patterns for all the other node types blank (including the user path, category path, blog path, user-track path settings). Easy!

I think that doing tha will create paths with pathauto for all node types but wil the default settings right? I would like to have pathauto create aliases only for the forums!!

Make sure that all your path
Make sure that all your path patterns are blank (including all "Default path pattern") except for the forum pattern, and pathauto should only create automatic paths for the forums.

That's right. When you first visit administer>>settings>>pathauto, you will notice default placeholders for the node types. Just remove them and put only the one you want for forums and pathauto will generate aliases *only* for forums.
