Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but I can't find a simple answer in any of the issues. Is there currently any way in D5 to cache emf video thumbnails (and hopefully perform imagecache operations on them)? http://drupal.org/node/187555 gives the impression that this has been accomplished but I can't figure out how. I don't want to upload my own thumnail for each; I want it to cache blip.tv's (in my case) normal thumbnail.

oh, not in d5. sorry, only bug fixes for d5, and then only until d7 is released.
