I made the two changes namely the table and code modification outlined in the guideline. However, the anonymous user still can not vote. A privilege is also granted to the anonymous user to vote.

The module was not designed for anonymous users to vote.

Which guidelines are you referring to?

The pages give how to instructions to modify the code and change the default feature to make anonymous voting possible.

This was done on much older version of the code which was for 4.6 and not 4.7.

The instructions and code need to be updated for 4.7.

I am short on time these days, so someone else has to do it.
