Hello,

I would like to make a field in CCK, that links to a local file on my own computer ( for example a pdf or mpg file).

With these links I would like to start these files in the appropriate applications.

I tried the module CCK link, but there I have to change every filename so that there are no blanks and I have to manually reverse slashe in backslashes. And, the output is always with http:....

Does anybody know an easy method to make these links to my local files, maybee even with a filebrowser?
