Displaying checkboxes inline as apposed to one above the other

I favour using checkboxes for the forms on my website however on many occasions I would like them to be displayed inline rather than one above the other

I am after something like this:

Job Type:

[ ] Full Time [ ] Part Time [X] Seasonal

I understand there are a few modules that may be able to resolve this issue ie panels, but I was wondering if it could be solved without the requirement of a whole additional module

If anyone has come up with a quick way to solve this I would much appreciate hearing about it
