I would like to reduce the size of the Autocomplete - Freetagging field to about half its current size, and on other forms reduce it somewhat also.

Is there a simple way to do this that I have overlooked?

If not, I would like to put this forward as a feature request as I and I am sure others, would find it very useful

This is the kind of feature that is typically solved by a Forms API code snippet in a custom module.
