I pick and choose what fields I want to display on the cck field edit page. I can set those same settings on the content type edit page (aside: why are there two places to set that?). It completely ignores those settings and displays the location name, city state, zip, country and coordinates.

Am I missing something? I am only telling it to display the phone (http://drp.ly/hZF1n) and it shows much more (http://drp.ly/hZA9x). I guess I can custom theme it, but I'd rather not have to.

Have the same issue, at the source code I see that 'hide' settings handling only for location.tpl.php function. I don't know by the where where location.top.php used. Any versions?

This doesn't seem to be fixed neither in 6.x-3.0 nor the dev version.
