Author Conact block not displayed

Hi,

I have installed this modules but the Author contact block is not displayed.

I set it to be shown in page nodes and only to authentificated users but I can't see it.

I tried with and without the Profile module, but can you confirm that I don't need it ? Also I don't display on the page the node author name, is it ok?

I can't find any permission to set also, is it normal ?

Hi wwwoliondorcom,

I just had the same problem. What solved the problem for me was to activate the personal contact form in the user settings of the author.

Yes, this was added as a feature so that authors can select whether or not they are contactable.

The 'author contact' module will only display for authors who have their personal contact form enabled.

You can set the default user contact preference here: ?q=admin/build/contact/settings
