Hi Fabio,

Looking over the module now and I think there is something lacking, since I am not a programmer myself maybe you can tell me how possible this suggestion is. Can we add a visual progress bar to the module? When uploading a video file the page looks as if it is waiting to load, I know that the file is uploading but another user on the site might not know better and think that something is broken. It would be nice to have a CANCEL button as part of this progress bar.

Just a suggestion, thanks for the great module - the early version is doing us a lot of good at http://www.cctvcambridge.org

this is definitely a feature to have. Even better could be having the video
uploaded using AJAX (similar to upload.module).

Then users will be able to start their uploads while still editing the video informations..
Really cool IMHO

This would be a great feature.

seanjuan, can I ask how you've got the latest videos in the sidebar of your index page with a thumbnail, I would also like to do this?

Thanks a lot.

I am using the Views module with a special inc file (from somewhere else on this forum) to make Video.module fields available for Views. Its a block view with a custom template, fairly easy once you first get your head around Views. Good luck.

Still hoping that there is some momentum for a progress bar in video.module. My staff are struggling with this aspect now and don't know what their browser is doing after clicking Submit.

Progress bar is on my todo list. Will be part of the Drupal 5.0 video module.

Please however note that, using PHP, is not possible to display to the user how
many data still need to be transferred. Just a generic indicator (similat to the one
of the upload.module) is possible.
