I'm very new to Drupal, so the bug may be in the gray matter and not the excellent soft ware, although I don't think so.

I have 3 views that I bulk exported and placed into my module according to the advanced help instructions. (see below for complete export)

All works perfect except

in 2 of the views there is a field with a "Rewrite the output of this field". Both are essentially the same. These are the relevant lines from the exported view:

After setting all in place in my module, clearing views cache, and reverting the views, everything works as expected except the string ">> ab [field_system_price_min_value] €" is not written into the field. After I do this manually and save, all is as it should be.

I've tried it with a simple string like "xxxx" as well as in other fields. Always with the same result.

I don't know what happened to my description, it was there in the preview. Never mind here the details again in brief:

I exported my 3 views, put them in place in my module, cleared views cache, reverted. All was just as expected except the actual text field content of a Views Export: "Rewrite the output of this field" was missing. The same field was in 2 of the views. Here's the relevant lines from 1 of the exports:

After reverting, I need to enter the string '>> ab [field_system_price_min_value] €' manually. Then everything is as expected.

I tried it with a simple xxxx as well as in other field, always with the same result.

As a workaround, try using the prefix and suffix, which look like they'll do what you want?

Wow thanks for the speedy answer, I will take your advice for now. I'm still very fresh to Drupal, so the bug is just as likely to be mine. Worth seeing if others experience the same problem thou. If you want any more info, let me know.
