I have a Drupal installation running behind a proxy. I am trying to use this Drupal installation to display external RSS feeds but have not been able to make this work.

My proxy does not require authentication.

I have reviewed a similar issue with earlier versions of Drupal and have attempted to apply the patches (both autmatically and manually) to no avail...

Patches appear to have stopped sometime around 4.5.2 or so. Is there a more recent patch - or (perhaps) an entirely different way of dealing with this issue in the 4.6 and 4.7 releases?

If not, is there someone who has successfully applied this to 4.7.x who could provide some insight into how they made this work?
