Using Ckeditor, I can open the Webfm in a poup-up window and that works, when I right-click the file and click on "send to rich text editor", the poup-up closes and nothing happens. The link field isn't filled.

It is kinda sad that you didn't take the time to scroll down the issues (http://drupal.org/project/issues/webfm) list:

#653236: Support CKEditor
#580556: Full support for ckeditor and tinymce through wysiwyg-api

CKeditor therefore is not officially supported - when and if it will be integrated only the maintainer can tell.
