Right now pdfview works only with modules. It would be nice to have a pdfview api in order to:

  1. let custom modules/nodes format their pdf output (ie. CCK)
  2. be able to render non-nodes content (ie. views)

does anyone know if its possible to generate a pdf of a node form as it is submitted...
so the pdf would look like the node/add page forms just before you click submit?
