Is there any possibility to build a 'newspage2' module that works with aggregator2 -- the ability to 'double filter' content automatically, that is first using autotaxonomy then using keyword occurrences within a category, would add power to drupal as an aggregator.

To raise the bar and make Drupal a world class news aggregator, there are a couple of features that could be added:

-- in addition to filtering for positive keyword combinations, a filter to exclude items containing 'negative keywords' would enable newspage2 to exclude irrelevant nodes from its results
-- any search engine/keyword density technique for adjusting the weight of newspage2 results to reflect relevance would be good
-- a filter to highlight (i) proper nouns (capitalised text -names of cities, companies, etc.)... with a clickable 'taxonomize this' link (ii) keyword occurrence in the node
-- a source language guessing/detection filter (using perhaps a "most frequently occurring short word" match)
-- a source country guessing/detection filter (using perhaps a "city/region/town" match)
