From playing with the mod and reading the FAQ, I know that Upright50 uses a combination of image and text pager and upright60 uses a scrollable pager. Is it possible to combine the 2 to create a scrollable pager like is used on yahoo.com with an image and text that scrolls as well, allowing for many more nodes to be featured (i.e. 15-20)?

Also, if this is possible, is it also possible to have the pager advance by a set number (as seen on yahoo) i.e. clicking the forward button on the pager scroll bar advances by the number of pager slides shown by default, so that basically and seen (http://themes.myalbums.biz/content/vsd-upright60-scrollable-pager) when clicking the advance button on the scroller, it shows the next group of 5 slides as opposed to showing the next consecutive, single slide?

Only the DEV version of the module can be used with the scrollable pager. This version is for test purposes only.

Yes, can also make a scrollable pager with image and text.
They little dots between the slides and the pager now advance the pager by five pager-items.
You than need to click a pager item to select a slide.

Did not use this to also change the slide but this action could be done, when that functionality is needed.

So the Dev version *probably* isn't a good choice for a production site or a ddblock novice like myself then I am guessing?
