This is an excellent site
Overall, I highly enjoy the look and feel of the site, and I am pleased that each logo is exclusive, which cuts down on the amount of repeats out there. Most of the designs are quite excellent as well! I've been looking for a site with the general concept (users being able to submit and sell their items).

Few questions...

1.How did you create your logo galleries, complete with ratings, etc.
2.How is payment of the designers handled? Do you have a system that tracks this, or is it a manual "go in and see what was sold" type of deal?
3.Could you go into more detail about the modules used in general? I'm assuming views, panels, etc.. I was unable to find the PayPal Modules you spoke of.
4.Is this site in Drupal 5 or Drupal 6?

1. Simple image module with fivestar and watermark module.
2. We had to do some custom coding to have the payments done simply through paypal. Drupal tracks payments and designers can see the status of their logos in their account. They are not sent emails.
3. Image, Simple paypal framework, Reg with pic, Taxonomy browser, Transliteration, Tagadelic, Views, Fivestar + 3 custom modules for logo display and payment.
4. It's 6.

Thanks for the "leads"

Any chance of those custom modules being released to the Community? I understand that's not often allowable, or the time simply isnt there to support a community module, but I had to ask. :)

We are considering it after a bit of rewriting to make them more generally usable.

Hi,

Love the site Stocklogos.com. Great work!
I'm starting a business and I need something similar like that site, but my knowledge is Joomla, not Drupal. so, what's your advice? Will a site made in joomla works exactly like stocklogos (uploading, selling, etc)? or is better to learn a bit Drupal and develop it?
What about a site like http://www.pixartprinting.com? http://www.camaloon.com ?
thanks
