There are some source strings that need to be changed (just misspellings):
List all revision (revision >>> revisions)
Enables you to moderate the creation of nodes and there further editing. You can have 'Live version' for all visitors and pending revisions which need to be apoved and become the 'Live Version' then (apoved >>> approved)
You are now editting the most recent pending revision (@revision) and not the live version! (editting >>> editing)
The strings
This document has 1 pending revision
This document has @count pending revisions
should be put into one string with a singular and a plural version.
There are a lot of strings that should have a '.' at the end, it would be best if you could check them all!
As soon as these things are fixed I will provide a german translation (the german translation provided so far really needs some work).

eugenmayer commentedi have corrected the strings and updated the .pot file.
Can you checkout the .pot file using CVS and attach the de.po file here? Thanks for your effort and help!
You can download the .pot file using this link also : http://drupalcode.org/viewvc/drupal/contributions/modules/content_modera...

FrankT commentedThanks for your help, I will update the translation and post it, but possibly it will take until weekend.
FrankT commentedI had my translation updated with the pot file you provided. To me it looks like there is an error in the pot file, there are many new strings that seem to be strings of the translation template extractor itself (I guess they do not belong to content moderation).
Could you check that please!?
eugenmayer commentedWell you are totally right, i copied to much of the potx. project over to the module directory. I will fix this and check it in once again, iam sorry.
eugenmayer commentedI just checked in the new translation templates

FrankT commentedI will have a look at the translation template later. Could you also check if the permissions' strings are translatable? Thanks!
FrankT commentedThe new template looks fine.
So by now the strings for the rights (also see last comment, e.g. 'content moderation story state 'approve' to 'live'') have to be made translatable yet.
Also the version block contains a string 'status: None' e.g., this string is untranslatable, too.

eugenmayer commentedHi Frank,
we cant make the rights translateable as they are not static and you cant "split" them into the non static and static part. Otherwise the "translated" string will land in the permissions table for the role...and when users have a different language then..the mapping fails.
So i guess we have to live with it for now, but as it is not "user visible" and only an administration task i guess this wont be a blocker, or?
