I don't know if this is a configuration problem on my part, but I've searched the forums and found nothing addressing this issue.

Basically, I have a user role on my site that has "administer nodes" privileges so they can edit content, promote to the front page, etc.

However, as soon as I give a user this user role, they see ALL available content types (such as aggregator2, dashboard, etc) which they do not have the permissions to create. So my question is, why are they all of a sudden seeing all of these content types under "Create Content" if they don't actually have the permissions to create them?

At first I thought this might have something to do with the taxonomy_access.module but I disabled that and I still have the same problem. Anyone?

I've encountered the same problem with Drupal 5

Did you find a solution?
