Most up to date version of Drupal 6
I left my site for a few days and the page loads with no style (css). I doesn't matter which theme I use, it just wont display the correct layout or colours or anything.

I haven't done anything to it, but there was a spammy node new to the site, could this have broken my css?

Any help please! I am about to give up on Drupal.

Yesterday my site was working fine, but today no styles were loading.
I disabled CSS caching and the basic styles load now, but files in the sites/defauls/files aren't accessible by Drupal which gives then a bunch of 500 error - page not found every time it tries to lead an image, banner or snippet from that folder.

Since you are the 3rd person that encountered the same problem today, we might have a general issue here.

So much for cheap hosting!
I have my style restored on my main site pages but admin is still a mess. They must have fixed the .htaccess file for me.
