Hi
I am upgrading from 4.6.x to 4.7.x.
I've followed the instructions on this site *to the letter*.
I mean: TO THE LETTER!
I've disabled everything but core modules, gone to Bluemarine, copied config files over, etc.
When I run update.php, I get a server 500 error.
Is this a problem with upgrading from 4.6 to 4.7 (should I go to 4.8 first?) or something else?
Rob

We need to know the actual error
You'll find the error message in the servers error log. We can't do much without that.
Although if it is a 500 error (an internal server error), chances are that it could be something to do with your .htaccess settings. That is (generally speaking, there are exceptions) really the only part of Drupal that is able to cause 500 errors by actually getting involved with Apache configuration.
