I installed this theme today, and I like it. I have noticed a couple of things.
1) The Navigation menu extends below the bottom of the page when it gets extended. For example on my test site when I click Administer -> Settings on the navigation menu the last 6 items are below the end of the page.
2) When the menu is taller than the page some of the menu items become insensitive. It is difficult to explain, but if you look at the attached screenshot, there are 4 menu items that do no change colour when the mouse hovers over them and nothing happen when they are clicked. The items are search, statistics, tinymce and upload. When I click on "General Settings" on the main part of the page and the page gets bigger, these menu items work as expected again. It seems a bit weird! This just seems to be a problem with Firefox, not MSIE. I have tested it with Firefox 1.5.0.4 on both Windows XP and Linux.

Gurpartap Singh commentedThis is a known issue. Will comeout with something soon. Please bear. I shall recommend to put the navigation menu in right sidebar. Looks better there ;-)

Gurpartap Singh commentedI have fixed some other issues with this theme and more. You might consider getting changed files from cvs.
Comment #3
Steel Rat commentedGuessing that this particular issue has not been fixed, however.

Comment #5
janne commentedIt seems that the center column is what decides the height of the page. If there is a way to give the left column equal importance with the center column, the problem should be solved.
Comment #6
janne commentedIt's not a Firefox problem. I have the same experiences with IE6. My guess is that it's the footer area that happens to cover those specific items and thus makes it impossible for the pointer to "reach" them.
The best solution would be to somehow give the left and center columns equal values, so the footer follows whatever column happens to be the tallest. I have no idea how to do that, though...
Comment #7
marcio_humberto@drupal.org commentedBut you it did not obtain to correct?
Comment #8
janne commentedAs I said, I don't know how to do it.
Comment #9
Steel Rat commentedI guess another question would be, how does this theme differ from others? Most themes don't have this problem, so you must be doing something differently. Is it perhaps the use of divs instead of tables, or vice versa? I really don't know, just throwing some ideas out there. ;)

janne commentedYes, that's probably what we need to do. We are all interested in getting this great theme to work properly, so why not just brainstorm around the problem at hand? I'm no CSS-whizz, but that hopefully doesn't mean my input is completely worthless. Here goes:
I can see how the content of the center column dictates where the footer will show up/the height of the page, since the position of the footer is relative to that column. Apparently, the height of the left column is also relative to the height on the center column - but not vice versa.
So if there is a way to make that relativity work both ways, we might have solved the problem (or parts of it). What I suggest is to give the longest of these two columns (left, center) the highest priority/status, when it comes to placing the footer. Is that at all possible to do?
Comment #11
lcfranson commentedThe first three lines of css code for the left column should read:
.left_column {
position:relative;
float:left;
This fixed the problem for me.
Comment #12
Gurpartap Singh commentedThanks to lcfranson. The issue seems fixed and I have commited into CVS and 4.7 versions. A patch is attached along here for users who don't want to download new package.
Please refer to HOWTO: Apply patches for some a short Drupal concerned guide to apply patches.
Regards to all,
Gurpartap
Comment #13
janne commentedIt doesn't seem to work on IE6, though... Now the center and right columns are stuck below the left column.
Comment #14
Gurpartap Singh commentedThe patch in above post remains intact for the users who don't care for IE public. bla bla
I have reverted back to previous version and the major issue as discussed, remains untouched. Sorry for inconvinience because I didn't test my patched version in IE, etc.
Thanks janne

reborg commentedSome of the correction posted are incomplete. In particular they cause polls to be incorrectly displayed inf firefox when viewing the node directly. What happens is the poll bars and colors get separated and the colors fall to the bottom of the page.
In addition to setting the left column to relative position, it is necessary to adjust the center column.
My complete style.css is attached, but has not been all that extensively tested. I have tried only pages with which I had issues previously and did so with IE, Firfox, Seamonkey, Netscape ( IE and Gecko rendering) and Opera.

Gurpartap Singh commentedAnyone wants to verify a fix which performs well in Firefox, Opera, Safari and IE6/IE7? Marking to 'needs review'.
Comment #21
Gurpartap Singh commentedThe theme has been removed, since the template was not GPL licensed, which is a prerequisite for hosting code on Drupal.org's CVS. #143795
