I've unchecked the "Display post information on" setting on the Global theme settings page for all node types, but the post information still appears on all of my nodes. I've tried clearing cache as well.

If I switch to Garland, the settings are respected (post info doesn't show up on nodes).

UPDATE

When I enable "Rebuild theme registry on every page", it clears the Post Information on all the nodes.

But this still seems to be a bug since this action is required to remove the Post Information.

I'm not sure what to say on this. I have seen no documentation as to how this works. My guess is that it is at a higher level then blueprint (or any theme) and it has more to do with the cache clearing.

I'd be happy to look at it some more if I can get more information about how this works.

zdean: I ran into this myself today and decided to get to the bottom of it. It should now be working wether or not you have the rebuild set. The change has been committed and can be checked out from CVS. It should show up in the dev build within 24 hours.
