Hello.

The interface for assigning term to custom subscription prevent from picking a root term.
It was my understanding that if I pick up the a term from a taxonomy that as children, the custom subscription would be triggered for that term AND its children (that is the "conceptually correct" behavior right ?), but you can't choose a root term (i.e. the taxonomy/category name itself) as a term because of the way the AJAX works and the check is done.
Is it by design ? could that be helped ?
It somehow defeat the purpose of having a hierarchy is you have to subscribe to all its terms by hand, with the error prone risk of forgetting to update the subscriptions when you had a term etc ....
