No signup email and bad emails after installing UC_Free

We have a drupal install of the following
Drupal 6.14
Signup 6.x-1.0-rc6
Signup for UC 6.x-1.x-dev
Ubercart 6.x-2.0-rc7
UC_Free 6.x-1.0-beta4

Before installing UC_Free our paid events would be processed by paypal and an email would be sent from drupal to the event coordinator.
After installing UC_Free our paid events no longer send email and our free events get an email with only the first half of the registering person's email.
I have to wait till wed of next week before I can remove UC_Free and verify that the emails start working again, but I thought I would start an issue in case any one else has seen this issue.
