I am currently using fusion started theme, but I am having trouble to specify top, bottom, left, right, and middle images, for a block. The issue is that I can specify one of the properties and not all 5. I am just trying to modify the $sidebar_first block.

Any help would be appreciated.

Use firefox, download the firebug plugin app for it.

Then you can hover over your webpage and see what code effect the first side bar.. then simply go to the line of code which has that info and make your css changes accordingly. If your using an apple mac you should buy 'coda' which will make reading all the css much easier too!

Does that make sense?

Hi,

Thank you for reply, I do use firebug, I know which element I need to apply css to. But I cant figure out how to apply an image at each border of the same div element"technically you can specify only one". The theme I am trying to modify is fusion theme. Only if I could see an example of how its done. Thank you!

you are right, each div can only specify one background image.

if you want multiple images, the best way is to use jquery and wrap 4 divs around your div.
