Hi,
Has anyone had a play around with facebook's PHP "compiler", HipHop and the affect on a Drupal site? Here's a link to the article.

We are looking at setting up an sandbox to see what impact this will have. I'll try and get back to post our findings. If anyone else has had some exposure to this, would be great to share experiences.

This looks pretty cool. Would be awesome if it ran a Drupal site without issues, but I imagine there would be some problems.. I'm looking forward to hearing about how your sandbox gets on.

And I found this benchmark, which claims Drupal needs some patches to be made compatible:

Is there any work going on to put these into the core?
