It not correct for 6.x-0.3 to be a snapshot of 6.x-1.x.

If you are using 6.x-1.x, it doesn't recommend 6.x-0.3 in update status.

We should use beta tags: http://drupal.org/handbook/cvs/branches-and-tags/contributions
