looking for a mod for user news.... tried a couple but they dont do what the description says... i need a mod that does the following.

User logins/creates an account as a user (already set)
user can the submit news
news is stored with date and requires authorisation by admin before its visable on the site
once approved its added to a news section organised by date etc.

where can i get a mod like this. all the mods i tried so far allow news to be posted but this is not authorised just appears on the site so anything could be writen and also dont create a page to add a link to so users can read the news.

id also like a simular mod were stories can be added... ie funs stories about the weather and snow etc.. not really news or whats going on.

can anyone help??? having real trouble with drupal :( ps i know other programs like zen-cart and gallery etc etc and use these alot so im not a complete novice.

tried the user news mod and managed to get the autorisation to work for myself as an admin but not for a standard new user hum...

It sounds like you need a module called modr8

fixed the error myself... redownloaded the mod and there was a file different to the one on my server.... maybe problem when downloading the mod first time around... just chnaged te file and now the error has gone... cant seem to find any tutorials or docs for this mod so i just stumbling through by my self.

can i have 2 users news mod with different names?

i like the way this mod works and would like to create other sections/pages with this mod but dont know how. so i have usernewm with the link to it etc... but would also like to have another section for stories and another for recipes.... work the same ay as the user news but with its own section. how can i do this??
