I am using views to create a simple video gallery with the embedded media field module. I'm pulling videos in from youtube without a problem, however when I select the format I wish to view the displayed field I can only select the default format. I have both a preview format and thumbnail I wish to use in different views, however as mentioned before I can never seem to select anything but the default 425 x 350 video size.

Has anyone else had this problem. I''m tearing my hair out as this worked fine for me up until I started messing with the view.

Ben.

I am having exact same problem with my site. I use embedded media field in my content type. In views, I select the embedded video field (YouTube is the provider), and then want the thumbnail of the video generated by views displayed on pages. I used the thickbox output of views emfield.

All this was working great earlier.

I was using the following module versions:
- Drupal 6.13
- Emfield 6.x-1.0-beta1
- Views 6.x-3.x-dev (2009-Jul-26)

I upgraded to
- Drupal 6.15
- Emfield 6.x-1.18
- Views 6.x-3.0-alpha2

Now, whenever I try to create a view that uses an embedded video field, the output format changes to default on its own. It shows the full YouTube video - where I just want the thumbnail image of the YouTube video.

Thanks.

Can't reproduce. Please try Media: YouTube 6.x-1.1 with emfield 6.x-2.x-dev and reopen if it's still a problem.
