Just looking at the activity_delete() function and was wondering if it would be possible to add a 


  module_invoke_all('activity_message_deleted', $aid);

or something similar ? basically I just need to know when an activity has been deleted.

Duplicate of #1186544: Add new hook for activity_delete(). This issue is older but that issue has a patch. Closing this one.
