Using uc option images together with the Node Display

Hi,

I'm not shure but I think I might have found a bug in the UC Option Image module.
My goal was to use Display Suite, Node Display and its contribution modules that support CCK and Ubercart to change the way product nodes were displayed. Allmost everything is working except the image the Option Image module adds in a non-ds configuration isn't added now. I do get the attribute to change for example the color of my product. But no image.

Is there anyone here who can help get this working or do i need to look for another way to custom theme my product nodes?
Would be a pitty cause Display Suite was really doing a fine job there.
