Hi,
I'm trying to get TinyMCE to work with Drupal 4.7.2. I installed the TinyMCE module (version 4.7.0 from 11/05/2006) and the latest TinyMCE engine from its website (version 2.0.6.1). I also set up a profile for it and associated it with a role.

So far, the installation seems to work fine in Opera 9 and IE6, but when I try to edit pages in Firefox (1.5.0.4) I only get a plain text area with a "disable rich text" link underneath that doesn't seem to do anything.

If I go to the TinyMCE examples at http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/example_full.php?example=true, it works fine in my Firefox without changing any settings, so the problem must be specific to my Drupal integration.

Is TinyMCE generally working on Drupal/Firefox? Any hints what I may have missed?

This problem seems to have been solved by installing the TinyMCE compressor.

I was able to get TinyMCE working without a problem on Firefox 1.5 straight from the install. I did not have to install the compressor.

I installed the compressor and got a bunch if errors including realpath and TinyMCE not found.

After deleting the tiny_mce_gzip files, the editor interface would not show up in FF 2.0, but would be ok in IE6.

Still in the dark...

Due to some reasons, tinymce did not work after install on one domain.
As the initial title describes: FireFox not working, but IE working fine.

I just hat to empty the cache and cookies and TinyMCE worked then perfectly.
(And i feel really dumb to have wasted so much time in trying to find the error)

I have no idea why this occured - since with other domains this did not happen... No matter - it works now!
