When the user types a word and the search returns no results, but didyoumean has propositions, would it be possible to display the results of that search?

The current version forces the user in that case to click in order to see his results. UX would be enhanced with this feature.

Also if an ngram is found in nodes, it would be great if those results are shown.
For example after filling site with devel-generate I search for 'mact' i get the following result.

Did you mean
macto
Your search yielded no results

Is it possible to show the nodes containing the searched for term?

Thanks for the feature requests. I think this would be a good option to add (i.e. a checkbox in the administrative settings form) so that users like yourselves could configure the default behavior. It may be a little tricky to implement, but I would love to see some patches that add this functionality. Unfortunately I can;t spearhead development on this feature because my main focus is porting Search Lucene API to D7 as well as completing the Facet API module which I think is very important not only for Search Lucene API but also for Drupal search as a whole. If there are qualified developers with existing D.O CVS accounts who wish to co-maintain this module, I would be happy to entertain the request.
