Attached is a patch that adds a search form to unsuccessful searches. Also included is a number of extra extensions to ignore ('htm', 'html','php', 'shtml', 'cfm', 'en', 'de' ). Let me know if this patch works or not, as it is my first. It was applied to the 4.7 version but they seem to be the same anyways.

Thank you very much - it worked perfectly. I did, however end up going a bit further so instead of showing the search form, the user is now redirected to the search page.
