Hello everyone. am new to drupal, and am keen to learn it capabilities..
I am trying to develop a website that is controlled by the users prefferences, and am having trouble getting myhead around it all. I want a user to register by supplying details such as what country , state, city -- then to specify what kind of books they like to read, fiction, non-fiction, fatacy etc. Once logged in the site will then show links to content that are related to what kind of books they like(registerd for). When the user clicks the link, the node then desplay a list of books available in shops in their place of residence.
I know how to submit a book to to the categorys
Country - State - city - book genre , but filtering that infomation to the user when we already know the half the user information is turnig out to be very tricky.
Do i go down the OG root...Any help would be greatfull. Sorry if this doesnt make any sence, but have been pondering over this for days. Loving drupal, stumbled accross it a few days ago and think have overlloaded my brain with infomation / documantation...:)
