I would like to create Directory Listing with several categories. There are only couple of fields required like
- Name of business
- Description of business
- Business address
- Contact person
- Tel/Fax numbers

I can do that with CCK but I would like to have the listings to be sorted alphabetically, not by date. Is this at all possible? Please help.

I believe using views and the View UI Sort module

Currently this module supports the following sort options:

* Do not sort
* Simple Alpha-Numeric (case insensitive)
* Field Label
* Field Name
* Field Type
* Widget
* Field Type / Field Label
* Field Type / Field Name
* Widget / Field Label
* Widget / Field Name
