I've got TinyMCE installs on a test site and a live site. When viewing both of the settings and the files in the folders, I see the same settings and the same files and file structure, but the editor is only visible on the test site, not the live site. I am at a loss as to where else to look to find out why one works and the other doesn't. Both have the access control settings as the same.

Any ideas?

On the LIVE site, what are you settings for using the editor (True/False) ?

Are you asking about the default state? If so, it's set to "True". If I'm not looking at the correct place to answer your question, please let me know.

THANKS.

Make sure the user has a role with the TinyMCE permissions set.

You would think that user 1 would get the right permissions by default, but it doesn't.

So if you have say an "Editor" role that has TinyMCE permission, go to /user/1/edit and check the box under "Roles" for the editor role (submitting the user edit), then try it.

I went into the users sections, selected each user and checked the role that uses TinyMCE and it didn't change anything. I still do not see the WYSIWIG. Was there another step that I should have done after that?
