field_file for 4.7

On June 21, field_file was stripped of its 4.7 release tag 'because of several critical bugs'.

I'ld like to give a go at fixing some of these bugs. Unfortunately, the flexinode issues are a bit unwieldly. Which are the specific bugs that need resolving before we can get field_file back in the 4.7 release?

(other bug track systems have a 'master bug' functionality, which I'ld like to emulate with this issue)
