gregglesIt's exciting to see your contributions. My feeling is that it's a bit early for you to be added to that page. Usually inclusion on that page is reserved for people and companies who have years of extensive contributions to the project. The module and patches you identify are a beginning of a great set of contributions, but not yet sufficient (in my opinion).
If anyone else agrees we can mark this "postponed" but of course in the future it can be made active again when there are more contributions.
avpadernoI agree with greggles.
I also think that it would be useful to have a list of users that works for Confiz Solutions, and with an account on Drupal.org.

Alex Andrascu commentedI doubt that you'll need a list of users that works for the mentioned company unless you specifically change the content of the Drupal services page where it clearly states
This section is a directory of some of the individuals and organizations.
I also own a company in my country and currently i'm my own employee. I can't see what's wrong with that as long as i contribute back to the community.
I do however agree with greggles and those are only my 50 cents.

gregglesWell, the way to evaluate the contributions of an organization are by the actions of its members/employees. So, for an organization to be listed it is helpful to have links to the profiles of the members/employees.
Alex Andrascu commentedThe problem is there (on the drupal services page) are so many listed organizations who does not list their members so imposing this rule right now would be discriminatory. I understand you must do something really notable to be listed there but that doesn't imply my company should have 10 members all listed on that page with user profiles on drupal. Maybe one's contributions as a person are bigger then a 10 man company but this one want's to promote his own one man company.

avpadernoI apologize for my comment.
I didn't mean that listing the users that are part of an organization is a requirement to be listed in the service pages; I just meant that in this case, as the reported contributions are not too much, it would help to know who else from that company contributed on Drupal.org. My thought is that, probably, the listed contributions have been done using that user account, but it does not include the contributions of other users.
gregglesThe list of members of the company is only to easily see what their contributions have been. It is not on its own a measure of the company and is not a requirement for the content of the page in the services book.

gdemetOne very easy way to do this without having to list every single person in the company's listing is simply to link to the list of users on Drupal.org who have worked for your company, e.g., http://drupal.org/profile/companies/Palantir.net
Comment #10
avpadernoIn this case, the list of users that reported to work in that company is the following: http://drupal.org/profile/companies/Confiz%20Solutions.

alex ua commentedconfiz- could you give a more current update on your contributions? I checked your page and it definitely seems like you're on the right path.
Also- I don't know if we have any Pakistani firms listed- I highly recommend listing that fact, as it could help you in your local market. IMO- it would also be great to have a firm from Pakistan listed!

confiz commentedAlex,
We have been working on a number of drupal based initiatives and the biggest success recently has been to relaunch the portal of Pakistan's biggest mobile operator (globally well known as well) Telenor Pakistan based on drupal. You can check out our work on www.djuice.com.pk
We want to be the market evangelists for drupal in Pakistan and would appreciate if you can list us so that we can further aggressively pursue more avenues for drupal growth in our local as well as international market.

gregglesI think the component change was a mistake. The name of the component changed which defaults it to the first item in the list.
@confiz, that project seems great! The criteria for inclusion in this page, though, is more about contributions to the Drupal community like writing documentation, running a camp, running local meetups, or contributing patches to the issue queue or modules/themes.

alex ua commentedHi Confiz-
Please follow the instructions at http://drupal.org/node/1735708 to get your company listed on the new marketplace- the old service directory is being retired. When you create your organizational node it will create another issue, so I am closing this one. Please don't take me marking this as "closed (won't fix)" as a negative rating of your company though- we are just trying to clean up the old issues and get people to move their listings to the new marketplace. If you comment on here after you've created your node with a link to the issue then I'm happy to review it.
Thanks!
