I installed d7 from head and found that the escape key closes the overlay dialog regardless of what page is open, or if there has been data entered into any form fields on the overlay. There is no confirmation requested by the user prior to the overlay closing.

Tested with Firefox 3.6 while using the JAWS 11 screen-reader.

This is by design. Its neither a screen reader issue?

@bojhan

Thanks for the response. I'm wasn't thinking that this was a screen-reader issue, but thought that it would be helpful to give details on my testing environment.

Can you explain, or point me to a resource to explain, what the design benefit is of being able to close the overlay with a single keystroke without confirmation, even when data has been entered into the overlay?

Thanks.
