node_export_file has recently added several new features and fixed a few critical bugs. It would be great to get these rolled into a new release.

Features / fixes include:

  1. Fixing potential XSS and functionality issues with remote mode in node_export_file.
  2. #570464: Enabling file exports inline with node code via base64 encoding.
  3. #681044: Fixing bug in node_file_export local mode.

I would also like to fix
#714412: node_export_import_form notices
and
#710920: duplicate content in the .info file

also this one seems fairly simple #697096: Remote location files - temporary file location and copied files unlink any objections/improvements/concerns?

#697096 is already fixed in DRUPAL-6--2.
