Drupal 7 version of CKEditor

Yes, we'll port the Drupal 6 version at the right time. Because maintaining two versions of a module takes a bit more time, we're still waiting with it.

With the release of Drupal7-beta1 potentially coming up late in June, could we get a ckeditor release for that version.

Sorry to be a nag, but this module is currently the only one I use, which does not currently have a d7-dev release.

Have you considered porting an early version of the code over now so users can iron out the bugs on a 7.x version prior to Core7 coming out?
We are getting very close to a final beta release and it would be good to get users submitting bugs sooner rather than later.

I have tried the WYSIWYG module for 7.x and it is as useless as the 6.x version. I have always used the FCK/CKeditor module in preference to the generic implementation as it provides specific customisation.

I agree with @whea on this. I need the ckeditor module to begin early adoption to Drupal 7. I'd be one of those people submitting bugs and fixes.

I adhere to the request of whea and j0rd and would be glad of testing and debugging dev's versions of CKeditor module for Drupal 7.

There are too many bugs in the 6.x branch. I think porting it right now will double the maintainers' work.

As jcisio said, we must first fix all bugs and release stable version od CKEditor plugin and then we start to work for drupal 7 version.

Now i work to migrate CKEditor to Drupal 7. It's not so easy so it takes some time.

My project is essentially stalled until at least a development version of the CKEditor for Drupal 7 shows up, so I'm very interested in this.
